Since 2010 Glynn Abbey Golf Club near Llanelli has been hosting a day of sport for local children with special educational needs.

This year around 90 students attended, from several local schools.
More disabled people than ever are now participating in sport in Wales on a weekly basis and last year Disability Sport Wales delivered over 1.4 million community opportunities; and in partnership with governing bodies of sport help to support approximately 23,000 disabled active members of sport clubs.Disability Sport Wales Statement
The event at Glynn Abbey Golf Club has been made possible thanks to volunteers from the club, as well as grants from Sports Wales, Disability Sport Wales and Golf Development Wales. The club hope it will encourage more people to get involved in the game.
